How does one learn to adapt to change better?

Have you ever noticed that there is nothing in the world that never changes? Do you know? But there is one thing that never changes, no matter how hard you try. That is changing.

Changing is the only constant thing in the changing world
Changing is the only constant thing in the changing world

Change is like part of our growing process. If you want to know whether you have changed or still stick with the place where you were yesterday?

Looking back, how do you improve yourself from where you started? It will help you understand your changes and where you are right now.

Main factor which makes people’s change is the mindset. Cultivating positivity in your mind can make people change. The goals of learning the importance of adapting to change, gaining knowledge through experience, and also realizing that there’s a need to change can make people change.

Importance of adapting to change

You may be advised several times not to change yourself and to be yourself.

But sometimes we must adapt to change. The world will never be the same. Time flies as fast as it can. Only the captured memories of the moments will remain with us.

The way people adapt to change differs from the average of ages. Sometimes the older people do not want to change because they have maintained some frame since they were young. It is hard because of some factors: their attitudes, their thinking patterns, their lack of belief in adaptability to new things, and also the generation gap.

You need to make a single move to change the world. Even if you didn’t do anything wrong, if you stand in your way without making a single step with the change, Sometimes you may lose. You will be stuck in the same place while everybody takes steps forward to pass your level.

Do you know the story behind the Nokia company? A long time ago, it was very famous among all those companies. However, it is now just another company attempting to expand their business. Other companies are more popular among the people, while the Nokia company is not the same.

In one of the interviews, the CEO of the Nokia company mentioned that they were lost, but they didn’t do anything wrong to deserve it. The only thing that happened was that I stayed late to adapt to change within the new era.

That will be the best story to happen in real life to teach you how important it is to adapt to change. This is the story mentioned above, adapted from a news website.

Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”

During a press conference to announce, Nokia was being acquired by Microsoft. Nokia’s CEO ended his speech saying, “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.

Nokia had been a respectable company, and they didn’t do anything wrong inside of their business, however the world changed too fast for them. Their opponents had become too powerful.

They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing, and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big. Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money, but they also lost the chance of survival.

The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall be removed from the competition. It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things. However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with time, you will be eliminated.

Conclusions. The advantages you had yesterday will be replaced by the trends of tomorrow. You don’t have to do anything wrong, as long as your competitors catch the wave and do it RIGHT, you can lose out and fail.

To change and improve yourself is giving yourself a second chance. To be forced by others to change, is like being discarded.

Those who refuse to learn & improve, will definitely one day become redundant & not relevant to their industry. They will learn the lesson in a hard & expensive way.

Never assume you will stay on top and embrace creativity, passionate disruptors and embrace and ride the changes

All the credits of this adapted part of the story behind NOKIA company must go to the respective owners. This is a news article adapted from the site – BYTE and sourced by Chris Harrison.

The strategies to adapt to change

The strategies to adapt to change
The strategies to adapt to change

1. Be open for change

change is like a river, you can maneuver, but you can’t swim against the stream. How can we be open to change? First, we must learn how to do it ………

We are some kinds of creature was created in a way who always try to stick in their comfort zone. While some people are waiting to welcome the change and some appreciating it, there are people who think that change is the worst thing that can be ever happened in their lives.

We love to live in a way full of expectations, while the reality is totally opposite from what we expected. Even when reality has a chance of changing, we do not try to take a look. We always wanted to hinge reality on perception.

When you are open to change, it is very helpful for you to fight against or take action to develop your personal growth with the change.

Just change the way you think by having a positive perception.

2. Step out of your comfort zone

“Real change is difficult at the beginning, but gorgeous at the end. Change begins the moment you get the courage and step outside your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

Roy T. Bennett

It is necessary to learn to step out of your comfort zone. React like limited edition goods. Not a single step out of that edition just because you trust that it is worthy because that’s a limited-edition version.

Do you know if you see yourself the same way? Even though you are a powerful person or a person with many abilities, you don’t understand that they are limited. Why don’t you try something new instead of trying to stay in your comfort zone?

Life rarely gives you what you expected. But it causes so many unexpected situations to make a choice for yourself. Adapt to change or reject them without considering, the choice is always yours.

But ;

Importantly, if you choose to adapt to change, it will give you the confidence to get out of your comfort zone.

Try something difficult. Try something that is challenging to yourself.  Brings you the opportunity to reassure yourself and the strengths you have.

Do not worry if you are someone who is continuing inside a comfort zone. Continuing a comfort zone to oneself is pretty good. If you want to adapt to the change, do not try to stay in your comfort zone all the time, spending your precious time in there.

3. Letting go of your regrets.

Making a list of your regrets isn’t easy. But it is a way to let go of your regrets altogether. Because it helps you to look back on your life and see what mistakes you have made. What lessons you have learned from the past. Finding your regrets and identifying them can be a painful experience. And so, it may take some time to identify. but for the better for yourself you must do it.

And the next step is that you need to identify the cause of your regrets. and identify how they affect your life. Regrets may happen due to financial problems at work, people around you, or your choices or decisions.

Letting go of your regrets is a way of adapting to change. You will feel regret whenever you make a mistake or fail to live up to your goals. Find the source of your regrets that are holding you back if you need to let them go, as mentioned earlier. Finally understand how to let go of regrets.

4. Changing your mindset

Our mindset creates a framework through habits, routines, and thought patterns. Therefore, it is not easy to change your mindset.

“Life has a tendency to provide a person with what they need in order to grow. Our beliefs, what we value in life, provide the roadmap for the type of life that we experience. A period of personal unhappiness reveals that our values are misplaced, and we are on the wrong path. Unless a person changes their values and ideas, they will continue to experience discontentment.”

Kilroy J. Oldster, Dead Toad Scrolls

Changing your mindset make you live your life it as fullest. Help for you self-growth, reduces your stress.

4. Passionate about changing

The passion about changing will bring you to adapt fast change in a perspective direction according to your choice.

As Ankur Vyas answered in a thread, how do I adapt to change.

Nothing is stable. Of course, everything is changing with the times. You have a desire; your next step will be difficult, but if you stick with it, you will be at ease with them. It will become visible if you continue to adapt to change.

Once your changes become habits, they affect your character. affects your thinking pattern. If you think you are morally ready for a change, it will be certain that you are both physically and mentally ready for that.

Why is it hard to change one’s habits?

There are so many reasons. Brain is one of the main reasons. Another thing is sometimes change makes us uncomfortable or frustrated. change is not the same expected it is uncertain. Most of the people does not want approach the change they think change is so difficult and they cannot live the way they want.

If scientifically answered, our brain is structured according to our experience, attitudes, and habits, as well as our emotions. As a result, if someone experiences an unexpected change in their life, it can be difficult to adapt quickly.
As a result, when you input new things again and again, your brain cannot understand whether they are right or wrong information. Therefore, the brain starts to react according to the way you used to be. According to your beliefs,

CONCLUSION

Adapting to change; while some people are finding ways to cope with the change, there is another group of people fell it much harder to cope. Change is a natural thing. It is the only constant thing in the world.

Making one change in your life can affect all aspects of it. It is very beneficial in many ways, like increasing your positivity, changing your habits, personal growth, and lifestyle enhancements. You can also experience new levels in your life if you are willing to adapt to your change.
