If you’re stuck in a rut, it’s time to go back to the skills you’ve been working on and implement another one in a new situation. You may be familiar with this concept from sports or music.If you’ve been practicing your violin for 10 years but haven’t played it since then, go back and play something new.
It’s the same thing here: if you have zero confidence in your abilities because of past experiences with other people (or even yourself), then go back. Write down all the things that make up your specific skill set, such as: “I can do X.”
